Studio Startup
INTRODUCTION
Studio Startup is an internal FARM Solutions project designed as a platform for early-stage founders who want to move from idea to a working business.
At the moment, Studio Startup consists of a small group of around 20–30 founders and organisations who collaborate directly with FARM on developing their ideas and early-stage businesses.
Studio Startup is part of a broader FARM ecosystem where digital products, platforms, and internal experiments are used to understand how founders interact with data, systems, and structured support during early-stage company building.
THE PROBLEM
Early-stage founders often have ideas but struggle to move forward in a structured way.
The main challenges are:
lack of access to technical and business expertise
no clear structure for turning ideas into execution
fragmented advice from different sources
limited access to people in the same early stage
As a result, many ideas stay in the concept phase and never become real products or businesses.
OUR APPROACH
Studio Startup is designed as a small, active system around 20–30 participants, where the focus is not on scale but on direct collaboration. Instead of building a large platform upfront, we develop the system step by step together with the people inside it.
We combine a simple website as the entry point with a login environment for participants, allowing direct interaction between FARM and founders. Through recurring sessions and structured conversations, we work closely with founders on their ideas and provide access to technical and business support, while also connecting people who are at the same early stage of building.
WHAT WE LEARNED
One key insight came from working closely with early-stage founders on reduced rates because their ideas showed strong potential. The value was not only in individual projects, but in the broader need to support promising ideas in a more structured and continuous way.
From that, Studio Startup was built as a way to give these kinds of ideas a more extended trajectory, rather than treating them as one-off engagements. It became a system around them instead of separate isolated projects.

This approach also appears across other FARM projects and services, where we combine data, systems, and collaboration into practical digital environments.
